Had Note 4 for 3 years. Just got a Note 9. Darn expensive device with such a short shelf-life. Debating whether to return it and just stick with my Note 4. When my Note 4 battery wears out I buy a £10 replacement and stick it in. Not so the Note 9. If I DID decide to keep it, what are my options likely to be in 2 years when the glued-in battery has started to lose its charge? 1) How much would it be likely to cost me to get it replaced? 2) What's the likelihood of the replacement being an OEM 4000mA one? 3) Any other suggestions?
It's a lovely phone and if it had a swappable battery I wouldn't hesitate to keep it but I'm not spending the next two years trying to keep the thing from wearing out. Would sooner enjoy my Note 4. Thanks very much for your interest in my post!
