Android Central Question

Happens on all varrieties of androids. Havent pinned it down to any group of website activity. Latest was 2.3 gb with 0 cache and history. I have to uninstall and reinstall to clear this down under 50mb. When working with 16 gb systems rocking nearly 8 system gigs every bit helps.

Have you tried just closing it, then opening it again? (Closing means Back button, not Home button.)

I use Firefox, but if I open too many tabs, it runs out of RAM. Same fix, although sometimes it takes a deliberate kill or a restart. (Browser engines still can't handle too many tabs open at once. Not many people try running with 50 open tabs, so it's not a high-priority fix.)
