When I try to login to Facebook I get a message saying I need to secure my account and when I press next it either says no connection tap to retry or it starts running me through the steps and once I've selected any commerce posts I didn't do and press delete it then comes up with the no connection message. I have cleared cache and data in application manager as pressed force stop and I have also turned off optimize battery usage for it in settings but it is still doing the same. I have a Samsung galaxy core prime. Can anyone help please.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data? What about on the mobile site in your browser, instead of the Facebook app?

Hi, I can't connect to any Wi-Fi and won't be able to for a while so have only tried on mobile data. When I try logging in via browser it says an error as occured or something went wrong (can't remember which one) and still won't let me login.

Hmm. But you're able to access the web for any other site, and with any other app? If so, that would make me think it's a Facebook server problem.
