A few days ago, I ran GeekBench test on my brand spanking new 1TB Galaxy S26U. My first scores were totally underwhelming, 2005 single-core and 6828 multi-core on the CPU and 15288 on the GPU. I think I was getting better scores on my S25U.
Then I remembered that I followed the advice of some of those "Do this first" YouTube videos and I set my performance profile to Light, rather than Standard. After setting it back to Standard and re-running the tests, I got the following scores: 3653 single-core and 11010 multi-core and 24735 for the GPU.
I'm sure the Light setting is definitely better for battery performance, but it sure does seem to sap some of the power of this super-phone.
