Android Central Question

I'm considering using this feature (Set up nearby device) to transfer my data from an Android phone that includes ATT&T bloatware to a new factory unlocked phone absent of any bloatware. I certainly don't want and bloatware to infect my new phone.

Will bloatware transfer to my new phone using the 'Set up nearby device' feature?

Welcome to Android Central! It shouldn't. If any preinstalled apps were somehow able to install on the target phone, they should be uninstallable there, since they didn't come preinstalled on that phone.
