why is settings application is missing amd how to find it.

The settings application is not found in my samsung galaxy tab3. I cant find it anywhere

Welcome to Android Central!

I suspect you've just removed the Settings shortcut from your home screen. If so, you can easily add it back by doing the following:

1) access the app drawer by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (or by tapping on an icon that looks like a grid of dots)
2) look for the Settings app
3) press and hold it, then drag it to the home screen of your choice
