"unable to connect to server" error message on native email app

Tried to add an Office365 business account to native email app. Was completing Exchange Server Settings after choosing Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, then error message appeared saying

"Couldn't verify account.
Unable to connect to server."

Help!
 
Welcome to Android Central! Are you absolutely sure the server settings are correct? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?
 
Server settings were as instructed on Microsoft website. I tried it again and for some reason it seemed to work:confused:

No need to mark it as resolved. It's always a good idea to leave the thread open in case you notice the problem comes back, or if others have a similar issue and have further questions.
