Android Central Question

I try to update my A33 tablet with Phoenix Suite but it fails to start update. I connect it to my Win10 laptop with USB cable and run Phoenix Suite on my laptop and start tablet. Phoenix Suite tells that device is connected and displays tablets details, model, firmware and so on. I found the same firmware image and downloaded and extracted it to my laptop. I tab FIRMWARE on Phoenix Suite then tab IMAGE and select this image from laptop and open it. Then I tab UPGRADE button to start upgrade firmware it begins but I got a message: "No device attached" and upgrade don´t start. I got a message :There is no device to be Upgraded! How can I upgrade my frozen tablets firmware? I installed LiveSuitPack1.11 to my laptop but it fails to install proper drivers to Win10 and don´t work.

Welcome to Android Central! Who's the manufacturer of the tablet? Is Phoenix Suite the official updater program from that manufacturer, or is it a 3rd party upgrader tool?

My chinese tablet is 7" Astar Y3. PhoenixSuite is made by Allwinner for their chips. Is it possible to upgrade firmware I installed on SD- card?

Only with the firmware that Astar provides. If they don't provide an update for the tablet (most small Chinese manufacturers don't) you can't. The update may be for the chip set, but it has to be an update for the tablet - there's more to the tablet than just Allwinner's chips, and the default firmware (like what;s supplied by Allwinner) has to be modified by the tablet manufacturer to work in their tablets.

You'll also need the update program supplied by Astar (if they supply one) to apply the update.

I bought this kids tablet for my daughters son for christmas gift and it was a new one. But it doesn´t work at all. Android boots but I can´t open it from lock key, it doesn´t move at all. The screen is locked(frozen). PhoenixSuite shows that tablets model is Astar-y3 and Firmware version is: V2.1 723Q7.A33.KK44.V2.44.wsvga.rtl8723cs. I foud this same firmware in Internet and downloaded it but couldn´t upgrade it.

What do you mean that you can't open it from lock key? Did you forget the lockscreen password, or are you saying that the tablet came with a password that you don't know?

I can´t move anything on touch screen. When I power tablet on it starts to android and I see on screen picture of winter gottage, time and datum and lock key on it but can´t move it to open. I don´t know if there is any password or if it came with password to me. I bought it as new one from a web store that I had bought many kind of goods. And when I power off tablet it shows a menu with buttons power off, reboot and silent bu i can´t select any of them because can´t move on touch screen but only long press to power button and it powers off. Is it possible that manufacturer or seller had protected tablet with password? Or could the touch screen been broken? If there was a password can I remove it with some app?

If the touch screen doesn't respond to any touch at all, then the touchscreen digitizer itself is probably faulty.

Hard to say. If it's a loose connection, it might be a relatively simple repair, but if the digitizer itself is faulty, it would have to be replaced. Since that's not a common device, it's unlikely that you'll find a do-it-yourself guide on the web, and considering that the device was probably fairly cheap, the cost of repair probably won't be worth it.
