So I'm just sitting here, and suddenly out of the blue my Samsung Galaxy Light (SGH-T399N, Android version 4.4.2) started making some loud, crazy sounds that I've never heard before. I checked for an alarm, a text message, a phone call, a notification, or any other indication of what could be happening, but there was absolutely nothing visible on any page of the main screen or in the settings pages. Nothing!
And it continued making this crazy sound with no sign of stopping. So I restarted the phone and when it booted up again, the noise had stopped but there was still no indication of what might have happened to cause this bizarre event.
It definitely wasn't an Amber Alert or weather warning. I've never enabled NFC. If anything, it sounded kinda like a musical, hyperactive alarm with at least two simultaneous, repeating "melodies".
My carrier is Metro PCS / T-Mobile.
What do you think happened?
