YouTube keeps telling me to install the new version

I have gone to the play store and installed the update and it keeps telling me the same thing even when I have done that it is on a iconic tab

What version of Android is that running? It's possible the latest version of the YouTube app for your device is not recent enough. Specifically what tablet do you have?

It'd be helpful to see that message to make sure it isn't a fake notice that's trying to lure you into installing some malware.
