Disable 5g mobile network.

Anyone know the mmi code for att LG v30 phone.

Need to get into hidden menu to change the band. Also do you know what I uncheck to get rid of 5G?

How do I disable the 5G wireless network on my phone and go back to 4g? I have an ATT LG V30

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be clear -- you're talking about the new 5G mobile networks, and not the 5 GHz wi-fi band from your wi-fi router, correct?

For what it's worth, what AT&T released isn't true 5G. It's some hybrid on 4G bands if I understand out correctly. There are no true 5G phones on the market yet, so there's not going to be anything to shut off on yours in that regard.

This 5GE is slow as hell. I'll be getting rid of my S8 Active (First Samsung phone for me, used to be a huge HTC person), but since I can't mod the damn thing and I can't just have 4G LTE the phone is useless to me.

Isn't 5Ge just relabeled 4G LTE at this time, while AT&T works on its actual 5G network?

any way you slice it, when my phone is in 5GE its good as useless :-(
