I cannot open my settings app

[Android Central Question]

For a while now i haven't been able to open the settings app, it instantly crashes when I click on it. However, I can open the Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth etc. from the drop down menu, but I can't leave that screen and go back to Settings. Does anyone know how to fix this?

(yes, i rebooted the phone)

Try first a general cache clear in Settings, Storage, Cached Data. Tell us if no go.

Hi, you probably won't see this but it's a Lenovo P2 (i totally forgot about this post, i haven't fixed the problem yet though, i've had this phone for like 2,5 years)

Welcome to the forums. Have you already tried booting into safe mode?
