How do you delete incoming & outgoing calls on HTC M8 One Android Phone?

As in the subject field,

I want to know how to delete incoming & outgoing phone numbers that I have sent or have come through from recipients before.

Appreciate any help with this.

In the phone log, long-press a call. That should mark it and add a trash can (usually in the upper-right corner of the screen). You should then be able to mark other calls, and delete all the marked calls by tapping the trash can.

And usually there's an option to completely clear the call log. In the Call History tab, tap the Menu button and see if it's there.
