Samsung T230 boot loop hell

[Android Central Question]

Hello,

My tablet started to boot loop last Friday after an app wouldn't load (wondering if that's what started all this) and has been stuck there ever since.

So far I have:

- wiped the cache
- opened it up and dis/reconnected the battery(/motherboard too maybe? I followed an ifixit guide)
- reset to factory settings

None of these have worked. I can't currently find the original paperwork for it so I don't know exactly how old my tablet is and therefore don't know about warranty. I'm also in Europe, if that helps with anything.

I am not very technically savvy but I can follow repair instructions if you have any suggestions.

If the hardware and battery are good, reflashing the stock ROM may fix it.

If you reflash the ROM, you'll wipe the data, so try a factory reset first. (Less work, same result.)
