I've download photos in google a while ago and when i checked my gallery I can't find them. I'm sure the pictures are downloaded because it's in my notification but I've already cleared them. I also checked the downloads on my file manager but still no luck.

Welcome to the forums. Did you use the Google app to download those pictures? If so, go to settings - apps & notifications - select the Google app - tap ' Permissions' and make sure that 'Storage' is enabled. If this permission wasn't enabled all those pictures were only temporarily saved and you need to download them again.

I agree with Javier P, but the pictures you downloaded before turning on Storage permissions may still be present -- just saved to a system directory called /document that only the Google app can access. If you have trouble finding the image on the web again, open your Google app, go to the Image Search again, then tap More at the bottom, and then Collections. See if the image is saved there.
