    Trying to see a number I tried saving but it didn't save

    If you saved it from your history, it should still be there. If you just random typed it in, probably gone.
    It might pay to look in contacts.... Settings... Numbers to display.... Select "display ALL". This is rather generic but you didn't say what device you were using..

    Welcome to Android Central! How did you try saving the number? If you copied it to the clipboard, and if you didn't copy anything else to the clipboard afterwards, it should still be in memory -- go to any text field, long-press, then Paste, and see if it shows up.
