Unable to change ringtone to a non custom ringtone using a CAT S41/Android 8.0

[Android Central Question]

I'm trying to change my ringtone for incomming voice calls on my CAT S41 running Android 8.0.
I know how to change ringtone in Android 8.0 but it does not work.

I get no error messages when I select my custom .mp3 to act as my ringtone and I can't see the .mp3 in the ringtone list.
I've tried with several .mp3 files in various sizes and lengths with no luck.

Does anyone know whats going on?

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be sure -- you're moving the mp3 file to the directory called /Ringtones on Internal Storage (not the SD), correct?

I'm a bit confused by this part. You can select your custom tone, but you can't see the tone in the list? If you can't see the tone in the list, how are you selecting it?
