Android Central Question

I've just got a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Installed all my apps, including Dolphin Browser, automatically after login to my Google account. Everything but this one problem...whenever I click a link from ANY app that opens into Dolphin, it opens in the same tab ALL the time.

I can have only one tab active, when I click a link from email, it will open into the only active tab in Dolphin. I click a link from a text and it opens into the same browser tab. Which means that if I click the browser back arrow, I'll go to the previous page that was opened by another app in the same tab.

This isn't how dolphin behaved on my previous device, Note 5 or a backup device S4.

I've tried reinstalling Dolphin and even adding Jetpack, neither helped with the problem.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

It sounds like there's a setting to reuse the previous tab. That's not the word I'm looking for but basically it's saving resources. The more tabs you have open the more RAM is needed so by using the open tab it cuts down on the amount of RAM it requires making things run faster. I'd open dolphin and check the settings for something to do with opening links in new tabs or managing resources.
