Extremely slow tower service

I recently switched to Verizon on my daughter's family plan. Knew they would limit data speed on the Golden Plan. However, speed is so slow as to be unusable most of the time. Complained but they only suggested moving to a more expensive plan. After many chats with Verizon and todays conversation with the local manager I've had it. Believe the problem is lack of antenna capability in our area. I'm sure they have not increased capacity since they opened their doors. Our population has increased dramatically since then.

That was the reason I left them (back in 04) - it got so bad that I couldn't get more than a couple of words out before the connection dropped. The money is going to 5G now, not faster data for cheaper plans. If you want to swirch, Mint Mobile is about the cheapest service I've found (when you're on Social Security that matters), and the data speeds (on TMobile towers) aren't bad - 40-50mbps.
