Android Central Question

Want to reorganize my screen, but can only put apps in that section below the home icon. Want that bottom bar to be gone so the whole screen is customizable. It's the bar with the phone/texting apps

Galaxy s10e. Sorry just can't seem to figure out how to get rid of that space at the bottom. Wanna move everything one lower

I'll long press it, get the remove option. Try to move it in that area and it won't be there. I'll let go and it just goes back to the original location. I moved the phone and camera apps out of the spot and I thought the area would disappear but it's still the favourites tray for every screen

Yeah I've tried googling it, just a weirdly worded question and couldn't find anything. Let me know if someone remembers. Thanks:)
You didn't lock the home screen ?
Long press your home screen and tap home screen settings > home screen lock is not toggled on?

Nope its toggled off. Usually it comes like this where every home screen has the favourite apps. But I just want that bar gone so I can have each page fully customizable

Like on my apps screen it's full screen with the page indicator at the bottom. There's a setting for a home screen only where all the apps are on the home screen but not vice versa.

This is the other thread where I saw that issue, but it had to do with ADW Launcher, not the stock launcher: https://forums.androidcentral.com/g...extend-my-screen-real-estate.html#post6544317

If the stock Samsung launcher doesn't give you the option of getting rid of the Favorites Tray at the bottom, then consider installing a 3rd party launcher like Nova, which should allow you to get rid of it altogether.
