Android Central Question

My device is Samsung Tab A6 (model SM-T580) and I want to downgrade but I dont know if this is possible. The reason is because after the update to Oreo 8, the battery drains very fast, faster than 7 nougat and way faster than Marshmallow. Please help!!!

Might need a factory reset to clear out old files from last OS update.

I've seen on tabs it's possible to revert to the original OS by factory resetting but any attempt to update will result in going to the most recent update so if the device came with marshmallow you should be able to get back to it but anything earlier you won't be able to choose. What you might find, and since you'll have to factory reset anyway, is that factory resetting and allowing the update to happen again might fix the battery drain issue. If not the factory reset and have your original OS.
