Android Central Question

When I go to storage settings (Android 9), Storage, Music and Audio, I'm told that there's 5 GB of storage being taken up. But when I click on that and go into the Files app, there's barely 10p MB of files there - where is all this coming from? I have no music on my phone, and my podcasts app is listed in 'Other Apps' and is only 1 GB.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you ever use any music streaming apps, like Google Play Music, Spotify, Pandora, etc.? If so, those apps could be caching music you're streaming, which might register as Music files in your storage settings.
