How to stop message " Moto mod battery empty"

[Android Central Question]

After most recent update I get every few seconds message telling me the level of my moto mod battery, or that it is empty. It is very annoying. How to disable it?

Moto z3 play. System update to Android 9

I had this same issue with Android 9 on the moto z4. In my case, I have a "work profile" enabled on my phone for apps managed by my company. If I turn my work profile off in settings, I get the notification to stop popping up. Of course then I also don't get work emails, so not ideal, but works for now. Hope that helps you figure it out.
