Android Central Question

After updating to Android 8.0.0 on my mobile for calls via Bluetooth in my car:
the call is established and people can hear me, but I cannot hear anything.
Media via Bluetooth though, goes fine.
This was working perfectly before the update and my other mobile with Android 7.0 works fine.
Tried restarting the phone, forgetting the BT connection, stopping and starting BT app, clearing BT app data and cash to no avail...
Any other suggestions before I try Factory reset?
Thank you,
Olga

I think you tried what I would recommend without success , maybe a reset might do it.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the gear icon next to the car stereo listing, and make sure Phone Audio is turned on.

Thank you for your response! The Phone Audio was On - this didn't help. Then, I tried Factory reset and it fixed my issue. So, it was not the Android update, I guess...
