Android Central Question

I did a factory reset on my phone today, prior to this, I had Facebook disabled on my phone so the app would not show up! Now I try to go in and disable once more, and the disabled is grayed out. I tried to reset it yet again and still nothing!!!!! I do not want this on my phone; I was doing just fine before this! My boyfriends is still disabled and we have the same phone!

Did you install Facebook after you did the reset? If not, the reset didn't reset properly (after a factory reset, Facebook shouldn't be on the phone). Do another factory reset, then install Facebook if you still want it. (Unless it's installed as carrier bloat, then it's a system app and can't be disabled unless the phone is rooted.)

Also, if the phone recently got a system update, the manufacturer might have removed the ability to Disable Facebook. That's something you'd have to take up with the manufacturer.
