Delivery reports in text messages missing

There is no delivery report option in my text messages setting. I've searched everywhere. Talked to carrier and Samsung. Looking for a solution. Phone has latest update. HELP

Open messages and tap the 3 dots on the right of the screen, settings, more settings, text messages then move the delivery reports slider

That's weird. What's the Baseband version? It's in Settings, about device, software information. Also do you have access to a PC?

Which carrier?, might be a carrier thing

ATT. They had me look in the same place. Also talked to Samsung with no luck

The ATT system supports delivery receipts for SMS and MMS.
Sounds like your SMS app does not support that feature.
If you really want that feature, you can try a third-party SMS app. I really like Textra, which does support delivery receipts.
