My moto g6 turns off dolby audio in some apps

My Moto g6 with android 9 turns off Dolby audio in apps like games but not in others like chrome, pre-installed apps, and reddit. It has done this since I have updated to android 9.0. plz help.

It's possible that those games simply disable any apps controlling the audio. That's up to the game developer. (If it's happening in a few games, they could all be using the same game engine [developers don't usually develop the engine itself] and the game engine could be doing it.)

That really sucks but it has only started since I updated. It might be possible that the feature wasn't available on 8.0 systems though. I almost always listen to my own music when I play a game and having Dolby turned off just isn't an option for me. Sucks but thanks for the info.
