Why does my lg q7 plus crash when i am playing games.

[Android Central Question]

I have a lg q7 plus through T-Mobile. No SD card and have over half of the 64 GB of memory left. I had a older lg (about 3years) before this one. Ram specs are higher also. I researched this phone before I purchased and did not find any real bad reviews about playing games. I play GOT. Conquest and Darkness rises. On the old phone they played slow but never really crashed. On this phone they crash every few minutes. I have cleared the cashe several times and reinstalled the games several times but the problem remains. I have been dealing with this for about 7 months and was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if there was a fix for it. I haven't been able to find anyone with this issue.

OK made a account. These are w different game developers. Also this problem is just not for these two games alone. It has done this to several games and it is only games and no other types of apps.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you installing these games from the Play Store or from somewhere else? Do you have any "RAM booster" apps installed?

Yes they are always installed from the play store. I also do not have any ram boosters installed. I just did a full factory reset and still have the issue. To me it sounds like a ram issue but indont understand how

Go to the Battery Optimization section of the system settings and try turning off optimization for those games.

Still crashed, that is with graphics and ram usage at the bare minimum.

Make sure Chrome is up to date (since Chrome functions as Android System Webview on devices with Nougat and above). If it's already up to date, then try uninstalling updates to Chrome, since sometimes Android System Webview updates can cause glitches with specific devices.

Do you use any battery saving modes or see if you can take those games out of battery optimized

Yeah that was the first thing he had me try and it want anything of those. I'm trying something right now. Google play games never installes for some reason. I known that it rracks certain things in games so I will install that and see what happens
