Android Central Question

Is it safe to save poasswords on the memo icon on cell Phone

Re: Where to save passwords

It all depends how paranoia you are haha

I’m using LastPass to store everything. But if you’re not into that you can use other apps like KeePass and store it locally or on your NAS. Just make sure that you make a back up for your database.

I would say no, because after all it’s just plain text. Also if you lose your phone.... then say bye bye to your stored notes.. unless there’s a sync or something on it.

But I’d suggest that you use a sort of keepass or lastpass.

Welcome to Android Central! I agree, use a password manager. I use LastPass.

If you have to save passwords on an unencrypted app like the Memo app, then do it in a coded manner that only you understand. I used to do that on Google Docs -- I'd type just a few characters that would serve to remind me of the password I had created for a particular site.
