Mewe not working on 4.4.4 kitkat?

[Android Central Question]

Mewe will work with Android 5.0 lollipop but not with 4.4.4 kitkat. Anyone else having trouble with this?

Welcome to Android Central! That wouldn't surprise me -- many of the KitKat APIs have probably been deprecated by now.

Everyone on KitKat would find it's not working. The app is suitable for Lollipop and higher

Yeah, the app page specifically says Lollipop or above is required: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mewe
