I got the new Galaxy A50. I used Smart Switch to transfer files from my old phone into the A50. But the old and new files are mixed. What folders are in internal storage? (Including Confidential)

Sorry, can you clarify your question? You can use any file manager app to explore the phone storage and find out which folders are on Internal Storage and which are on SD card.

They are all necessary, they store your apps data or pictures, you have to go through each one and see what you don't want and delete it , especially empty files .
