Screen replaced now overheating and battery dies within the hour

Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F)

Cracked screen was replaced. Phone now randomly overheats around the earpiece/selfie camera. Occasionally it doesn't overheat. Either way the battery life from full charge used to last all day before new screen was fitted. Now battery drains to zero within the hour when not in use. 20 minutes if in use.

Often it drops from 80% to 1%. If i restart the phone it shows 70%.

Often the phone just freezes and i need to carry out a soft reboot.

I have also carried out a clean reboot to factory setting. No improvement.

Who did the screen replacement?

Go back to the person who replaced your screen. Clearly a hardware failure or incorrect replacement of screen causing perhaps a short.
