Soft reset for note 9?

for some reason, after the PIE update, i'm having a hard time doing a soft reset which i haven't had problems doing before. my note 9's been kinda sluggish & freezing so i wanted to do the wipe cache partition but i can't get to it now. any inputs?

That's recovery
Hold the bixby, power button and volume up at same time
