Android Central Question

XIAOMI Redmi Note 8 Pro does not PASTE password into password input.
How to solve this?
Is this security protection in Android 9 or some settings?

So everyone with a phone running MIUI go to Settings, search for feedback, and let them know that they have to fix it. (Be nice of course, don't say "you have to", but more along the lines of "it doesn't work, can you please fix this in a future update".) It may be someone's "great idea" but, like all half-thought-out ideas, it's only "half-great" (I'm using the word "great" to be nice, you all know what I mean).

^ I'm reminded of Sir Lew Grade's comment about the many TV shows that he produced: "All my shows are great. Some are bad, but they're all great."

I use Lastpass and confirm my Redmi Note 8pro won't allow it to paste copied passwords into apps.. it's really annoying. Any fix for this 'feature' ?

Keepass2Android Password Safe? I don't know if it will work in the XIAOMI phones, but it works in Samsung and Google. (If that doesn't work in XIAOMI phones, they have a real problem in their philosophy. What good are password safes and 30 character random passwords if you have to copy them by hand, one character at a time?)
