Android Central Question

Please I changed the screen of my phone and ever since, if i open my default camera, it is blind. But if i use other camera application, they open. Please what could be wrong with my default camera? Thanks

Probably because you either unplugged the camera module or you broke something. That's why people who don't have experience repairing cellphones shouldn't try to repair them themselves.

Now you have to find a repair shop that will repair a phone that you've already worked on (most won't, because they have to check everything to find out what else you may have broken). And the repair will be expensive, because it's going to take them a long time to check the entire phone out. (You don't save money replacing the screen yourself - you end up spending a lot more than if you had brought the phone to a repair shop to have the screen replaced.)

Agree with you on that

I don't think I'd jump to this extreme yet. If this were a hardware problem (which I do agree is very possible in general after a DIY repair), then I wouldn't expect it to work in other apps. Since the OP did say it works in third party apps, I suspect this to be software related. I'm with B. Diddy on trying in safe mode. I would also suggest trying to clear the stock camera's app data to reset it.
