how can I copy an incoming EMAIL msg and then paste it into a Textra msg?

incoming msg (sent by Outlook) that I want to copy to clipboard, then place into textra to export again. How to do that ...?

Should be able long press the message then highlight the message choose copy and once it's in you keyboard should be able to paste where you want.

Open the email message.
Select the desired text.
"copy" to clipboard.
Switch to Textra app.
Go to the desired thread.
"paste" into a new message.

What are the exact steps you are taking and where does it fail?
