Does deleting a photo from gallery will automatically delete it from samsung cloud?

[Android Central Question]

I am having a doubt about samsung cloud on my phone Galaxy A10.

Does galaxy A10 supports gallery sync to samsung cloud??

If yes, then If I take a picture in my phone it automatically get synced to my Samsung cloud. And afterwards, If i want to delete that photo permanently, is it ok to delete it from only gallery? Will it automatically delete from samsung cloud as well?? Is that how sync works??

Because i dont need that photo in both local storage and cloud as well.

Please let me know the solution for this problem.

Hello. Welcome to the forum. I don't believe it erases the data from the cloud. I don't use a Samsung but my photos upload to Google photos and once there they stay there even if I delete the photos from my phone.

With the Google Photos app, be cautious -- if you tap the garbage can icon that shows up when you view a photo, that will put the photo in the Trash, which means across all devices and in the cloud. To remove it from the device only, but keep it in the cloud, you have to tap the 3-dot menu button at the upper right and select Delete From Device.
