Android Central Question

I need to backup EVERYTHING / ALL MY PHOTO event the almost similar / or duplicates . Can i change this google photo setting ?

Sometimes a photo are similar..but sometimes i need to keep the best shoot later, but google photo automatically remove the similar / duplicates. same date...not exactly same time (maybe diff in seconds) same size same folder.
Can i disable this features?

Welcome to Android Central! That shouldn't happen. Are all of these photos in the /DCIM/Camera directory? Google Photos should back up all photos there, regardless of how similar they are.

So these photos are all in the /DCIM/Camera directory on the phone, correct? If any of the photos are in a different directory, and if you haven't set Google Photos to back up that directory/folder, then they won't show up in your Google Photos on the web.

Also, look in your Google Photos Archive section -- are any of the missing photos there?

This is strange, because there's no native option in Google Photos to skip or eliminate duplicates automatically. Open Google Photos and tap Menu>Device Folders. Are the missing photos all in the Camera folder, or are any in some of the other folders? If the latter, then make sure those folders are also set to backup (because the default is that only the Camera folder will backup automatically).

Already Googled this..and it is confirmed that google photo will eliminate duplicate photo to safe space.
Just there is no Option for me to disable this features..
