Bought a ellipsis 10 tablet from a guy at a swap meet and the tablet was dead at the time I bought it. I took it home charged it up and tried to us it to find it had been reset and it wants the email and password it was set up with. Can it be bypassed or should I just throw it away

Welcome to the forums. That's a very important security feature and you need those Google credentials to unlock the tablet. Sorry.

Nothing you can do about that , it has previous owners security , lost your money on that.
We don't talk about trying bypass security freature of a device.
