I loved my axon7, but after a year, the 3.5mm headphone jack died . So I opened the wallet and let the moths out to buy the LG V30. I've never been happier. The ESS quad Sabre dac is really a lot better than the A7. The only thing I miss is the Dolby atmos for movie viewing.

So glad you are enjoying your V30! YES (I meant to put all-caps there lool), I too heard that an Axon 8/a successor to the Axon 7 could be coming in 2018. I am going to hold off upgrading until I see what that's all about!

Android Authority just posted a link about this very thing that popped up on my Facebook newsfeed... apparently, a sales rep from the company did say positive things about a "successor."

I wonder when in 2018 the next gen axon will be released.
I hope it will be sooner in 2018 and not too late into 2018

To be honest, if my ZTE Axon 7 Mini lasts for longer than six months, I'll stay with ZTE and get the Axon 8. If not, I'll go. ack to iPhone.

My axon 7 has lasted over a yr. So far so good.
I just hope the axon 8 or 9 will be more popular in the USA.
And let's hope it's a couple of steps up from the 7

I've already worked out the battery life issues so I'm currently very happy with my decision. Time Will tell going forward however.
