Actually my daughter did and she's as happy as can be. Especially with battery life. No longer does she need a charger, or cord. I knew she would. I was interested in the oneplus 7, but I just can't give up the headphone jack, or wireless charging. So, for now, I'll stick with my V30. Maybe one day oneplus will add these features. The reason for the jack, is that most of my music files are now high res (flac, DSD, MQA). Without a proper dac like the ESS Sabre quad dac in my V30, music listening is not the same.

I'll bet she is happy. For the first time I have a phone that doesn't have me looking and interested in what new phones are coming out. I can understand your affinity for your V30 and that dac though. I still have my V20. I use it as my media hub in my stereo system.

How about get the 6t or 7 and use a USB DAC? There is a dongle you can use headphones with, but I'm sure that won't be up to par with what your used to with the LG. But no phone audio compares to the LG's.

Yep, this is the first phone in a long time I haven't been looking for a new one after a couple months. The battery life, speed, subtle customizations you can do to the OS, just fantastic. I've looked at the S10 a couple times and IDK, it just feels like there's to many extras that are in some ways compromises. It's so light it feels like a toy next to my 6T. Yet the curved screen and bixby button just turn me off super fast.

I'm very happy with my 6T.
