being a truck driver, i don't have the time to keep up with all the forums and the latest happenings. so don't hate or get mad. i do the research to the best of my ability. and so far all i can find is an update solution.

the problem is that my phone would appear to have a virus. so i need to do a complete wipe and reload.

the version on the phone right now is 5.5.893. i'd like to get the latest .902 installed if possible or whatever version i CAN get on there.

is there anyone that can point me in the right direction for instructions and downloading of the latest software and whatever it takes to keep my root.

i don't want to reload .893 as that software contains a green plus sign that sits on the left top corner of screen. and i beleive that to be the root of all my problems

besides. i have no idea where or if i even have that software to reload. and since it's been so long since i keep up on these sights. i don't even remember the procedure. so basically i'm totally lost without somewhere to go on.

What are you seeing that would indicate the presence of a virus on the phone?

people are sending me emails and automatically getting pinged back with a virus email.

problem doesn't happen when the phone is turned off.

and lately. specially today. the phone gets really hot when charging. and battery is totally discharged within an hour. if i turn the phone off and charge. it stays cold.

anywho. we've got .902 installed. now just need to get bootloader reinstalled and root back.

got the motofail procedure going on but it can't touch it.
