Uploading app to Google Play where users can test the app X number of times before having buy?

Is this possible? if so how? Is there any api and coding for that or is that something configured at upload time?

Also, my app is written ReactNative, but 90% is web based through webview that integrates with phone controls and i already have code on the web site that stops a particular phone from using the app after 5 uses and then sends the user to paypal for payment. Will Google Play allow this or see this as a violation?
