This may seem like a basic question, but how do I place a widget or shortcut on the home screen to toggle wifi on and off (only wifi)? I had a widget in GB, but I can't find anything for ICS, except for going into settings>wifi, which is 2 extra button pushes (George Jetson would be aghast). Thanks. -- Roy

The Power Control widget handles WiFi toggling. Or you can sweep down from the notification bar, tap on the Settings icon, then turn WiFi on and off from there.

Open your app drawer. Click on the Widgets tab.

I found the Power Control widget, but is there any way to customize it? It takes up a lot of real estate, and is not transparent, so I can't see the background (which is a live wallpaper with clock, battery status and wifi status). Or does anyone know of a wifi (only) toggle? Thanks.
