New around here, and a novice at rooting. However, I did so this past weekend in order to recifty the mess that ICS made of my phone.
In doing so, there have been plenty of amateur moments in regards to me trying to get things right with my phone (as you can imagine). Long story short:
- phone is rooted back to Gingerbread EL29 (did so w/ Odin, preserve data method), then..
- everything was fine, except that I couldnt set new alarms without Clock app freezing/FC everytime OR access the Calendar app settings without freezing/FC. Tried to fix this by cleaning the caches and clear data options in the respective Applications menus (didnt work). So in tun I..
- Backed everything up (Titanium back up)....put phone into Developer Mode...ran wipe cache (didnt work)...and ended up doing the Factory reset (WORKED!)
....I restored all of my apps/settings/data and everything worked for a while, but not the Digital Clock alarm freeze had come back. I've tried several fixes all morning, but no luck.
