Ghost notifications on Fossil Q Venture Gen 4

Hi all!
My Fossil Q Venture watch seems to randomly vibrate at night. It happens only once or twice a week, and always at round hours, while not always at the same time. There seems to be no evidence (eg no notification) after the fact.
- I have it set to not notify when off the wrist
- there is no notification that should have come through when this happens (no calendar event, no calls, etc).
It is very frustrating because it wakes us up for no reason.
Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone found a solution?

Under developer options there is an option to turn on/off vibration on connectivity change. Is that turned ON? I am not sure what the default setting is, but I leave mine turned off.

Sorry for the late reply. By "Developer Options" do you mean on the phone?
On my watch under Settings - Apps and Notifications I have the "Do not disturb when off wrist" set; this is the only relevant setting i could find.
