Google Pixel Automatic Shutdown Problem.

Hello guys, how are you? Hope you & your family are well in your place.
Recently i bought a used Google pixel phone for basic uses purpose. I just bought it for social media browsing and chatting. It's currently running android 10. After using that i am facing a problem. First of all battery draining problem. I can barely use it for 10 to 20 minutes cause it is automatically shutdown while using. Also shutdown when i click photos or switch one to another app. Then i have to connect my charger for back it into life.
But it is perfectly run while charging. I can used it almost all day long on charging. So can you please told me what's the issue? Is it a battery problem or anything else!!!

Welcome to Android Central! Is this the first generation Pixel? Do you know how old it is? A 1st generation Pixel (and even a Pixel 2) could have a pretty degraded battery by now, depending on how the previous owner(s) used it. There's not much you can do about that besides get the battery replaced at a repair shop.
