Why does an Android device use so much more data than a BB. My wife uses .5 gig of data per month. I use my phone much more for data and only use .05 gig per month. I have a BB Storm2 and she has a Thunderbolt. I am going to get a Galaxy Nexus Prime when it comes out.

Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

    thks in advance

an android phone is always syncing with central servers for email, applications updates, location updates, etc. a blackberry doesn't necessarily do all this. i have a samsung epic 4g, and i use to have a blackberry 8330
