I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to get my android augmented reality apps onto the TV or PC screen and use a camera other than the android devices for input.
Is there a way to get an emulator on a pc running an android app to use a webcam as input?
I have some apps that use the phone's camera to track targets. The AR library doesn't have a standalone pc or mac version, only android and ios. I want to do something different for trade shows and such with a big screen, and ideally a higher resolution camera than the device has....
If that's not possible, I guess I can point the android's camera at the crowd, and somehow display what's happening in the app to a TV/LED screen. Any ideas on what could easily do this?
Also would a networked TV running android OS be able to use an external camera?
Thanks.
