Is there an alarm clock or calendar app that allows me to set alarms by date?

I could not be more displeased with the default clock and calendar on my GS4, I have missed/been late for too many appointments because of them. Seriously, they are absolute garbage.
What I need is an app that:
1. Allows me to set alarms on specific dates
2. Makes the alarms go off and make sound when my phone is on vibrate
3. Does not stop going off until I shut it off

I did a fair bit of looking, but I didn't really find anything that completely meets my expectations. If I completely overlooked some feature or app, make fun of me for it, I don't care, I just need to know what it is so I don't miss another appointment.

I've used Clock ICS and Clock JB+. They both work very well. DigiCal is a good calendar app. Btw, you can tell Google Now to set reminders/alarms for future appointments. Works every time.

I haven't used any application so far, but i am always use in built calender of my device.

That won't due for me. I needed an app like Life Reminders, a simple notification won't wake me.
